Question:
Am I a failure because I'm going to Community College?

First two years of my high school career was a disaster due to other personal issues. Last two years were much better but it doesnt matter, if you looked at my resume theres no chance i would be going to university straight from High school. I've heard stories of people going to COMM. and transferring, etc because they didnt do well in HS or financial reasons.

Is it really that bad that im going to Community College? Am I a failure? How can I redeem myself?

Please help me, I'm kind of depressed actually. Be kind, thank you.

Any time you improve your level of education, no matter what method you choose, you are all the better for doing it. Good for you. Now the question becomes, what are you going to do with it?

I started out the same way as you. I chose to use it to continue at the university level. I even transferred a year. What you do with your life is strictly up to you and what goals you set for yourself. As you get older you do make wiser decisions. I ended up at the graduare level. I wish you the best. Pat yourself on the back and hold your head up high, your are on the right track.

One of the purposes of further education is to make yourself employable. Will going to community college do that for you? Will you find a career that interests you? Those are the questions that you should be asking yourself.



Don't forget that if you get good grades in college you can use them instead of your high school grades when applying to university (prior post-secondary education). It might delay you, but think of it as a second chance to do better.



In my case, I was lucky to even get INTO community college. I had dropped out of high school and started part-time as an adult student in a community college in Ontario. I finished fast, used the grades to get into a BA program at York, and got two graduate degrees from the University of Toronto.



Again, think of community college as a chance to either start a career or to act as a springboard to other studies. You're not a failure--you're just planning a different route to success.

Hell no! I artwork with somebody who went to San Jose State then transferred to a community college. i bypass to a community college, and my college paper presently had an editorial approximately quite a few college pupils shifting to a community college. do no longer enable anybody inform you you're a failure!

No man dont think so. Yes it is the symbol of failure for those who r transfer deu to their bad performance but not for the student like you who is being suffering from personal issue.

just look the peoples attidute towards those and you. Is the attidude of those people is same 4 u and for them? Realise this.



another thing. Do u know some of the world famous people like Dipendra Bhusal had face same problem but eventually the world recoz. Them n their ability so don't be hopeless.

Na yur not. Being a failure would be NOT schoolin. Just get good grades n have fun while yur there (i.e. Meet people, etc.). Look jim morrison went to community college and I think even chuck bukowski. They both became ******* legends.. besides I think you can transfer to a university
