Are you supposed to find your own examples or have you been given specific examples? In either case, I think you need more help than I can offer here. Nevertheless, genre could be mystery or science fiction for example. Elements might be character, setting, plot.and literary devices might be flashback, symbolism, point of view, and so on, and so on. Reading strategies might include overview, skim, using context clues. A review of a basic literature text may help you more.

This is a BIG question. In my third grade class I have a list of genres that fall under the category of fiction. The list contains genres such as fairy tale, fable, historical fiction, realistic fiction, horror, legend, folktale, fable, and tall tale. There is a definition beside each. I have the students read the definitions to help them determine the genre of a book they are reading.
