Are teachers right to tell that you are dumb?

When I was lot younger, approximately age 7. I had a teacher who used to always call me dumb and stupid. She actually did more arguing and teaching and I've also noticed that she used to lecture and shout at me over silly things.
I remember one time when I accidentally forgot to bring my PE. Kit, and so did other kids in my class. However whenever they mentioned it to her, she's calmly say, "ok, but must remember to bring it next time". But then when I tried to tell her, her calm face expression quickly changed to a very angry version, she shouted and sort of went crazy. She shouted, "WHY HAVE YOU FORGGOTTEN YOUR PE KIT, CAN'T YOU DO ANYTHING RIGHT?"
And I just literally burst into tears, it was the first time I forgot to bring it. And she just kept on shouting at me.

She even shouted at me because I dropped a trip money card, and with loads of situations. I was never naughty, not that I dared.

It was all because I had a learning difficulty and she just didn't want to understand it.

I had a teacher who was like this to me at primary school, and i think because i was painfully shy in primary school she probally thought i was an easy target. One time she got us all in a circle and got everyone in the class to say what they would like to do in 10 years time. I said i would like to go university and she replied "you university" and then laughed. well im laughing now as im going to university in a year.



I think its wrong that teachers do this and i hope they dont do this still now.

I don't think a teacher has ANY right to put a student down, especially call them stupid or dumb.

Teachers are supposed to make us feel like we are in a safe learning environment, free from physical and mental harm. A teacher calling a 7 year old "dumb" is very mentally harmful at a young age.

It is also very unprofessional and i think they should be fired for that, bullying is not right no matter what age.
